Foggy Noggin Beer Release: Rufus English IPA

July 29, 2011

If you find yourself on the north end tomorrow with nothing to do, you should stop on by Foggy Noggin for the release of their new english style IPA, Rufus. Eben and I have been to the nano-brewery a couple times and enjoy trying all the beers he has on tap. Jim Jamison is the mastermind behind Foggy Noggin and he works out of his garage like a true home-brewer! He’s incredibly knowledgable and has a great sense of humor and brews some great beer too.

I love all his beers because you can really taste the ingredients he adds; my favorite has been Butchs Brew… it had roasted hazelnuts brewed in and you could really taste that roasty flavor in it. It was rich, and sweet and had real character to it. But that’s just one of his beers… you should go check out the new one; Rufus IPA!
